A range of material selections for closed-mold applications.
- Multimat: 100% glass combination of CSM fibers stitched either side of a knitted glass core.
- Multicore: Chopped strand mat (CSM) stitched on both sides of a layer of polypropylene core.
- Multifilo: One or more layers of chopped strand mat (CSM) stitched on one of both sides of long fiber mat.
- MultiMat Lite: Glass/polypropylene knitted core. It exhibits the excellent processing and handling properties of
MULTIMAT, whilst foregoing some of the advantages of the 100% glass core for the advantages of a low-weight polypropylene core.

| FlowRo® Fabrics - Americas Datasheet | OCV™ FlowRo® Fabric is based on traditional woven roving construction, making laminate design straight forward. Mechanical properties are comparable or superior to those of traditional open molded parts. Since the fabric is 100% fiberglass, laminates can be designed with confidence in any part. As an affordable closed molding alternative, FlowRo® Fabric builds on the OCV™ dedication to developing solutions that save you time and money. With familiar handling, fast thickness build, and outstanding properties, FlowRo® Fabric is an easy choice when moving products from open to closed molding. | |
| FlowTex™ Fabrics - Americas Datasheet | OCV™ Technical Fabrics is proud to present FlowTex™ : the next generation of fabrics for closed molding processes. FlowTex™ is a fabric consisting of unidirectional plies–just like traditional knitted reinforcements–that uses a unique, patent pending construction to greatly improve resin flow. This faster flow rate can lead to higher production and mold turnover, while potentially decreasing cost by eliminating local resin distribution media. | |
| Multicore® Fabrics - Americas Datasheet | Multicore® Fabrics are designed to be used as a single layer reinforcement, resulting in time and material savings. No performing is required for placement in the mold. Thickness of the finished part and the required glass content are the deciding factors in choosing the proper material. The glass content along with the resin properties will dictate the overall strength of the part. | |
| Multimat® Fabrics - Americas Datasheet | Multimat® Fabrics are designed to be used as a single layer reinforcement, resulting in time and material savings. The unique 100% glass fiber construction offers great resistance to delamination. Parts can be laminated and post cured with phenolic resins. Multimat® Fabrics have a strong bond between the glass and resin throughout the laminate which maximizes the service life of the laminate. The high glass content along with the resin properties will dictate the overall strength of the part. | |
